Pastor Thian Nun Piang has served in Christian ministry for more than 15 years alongside his wife, Lai Rem Mawi-Piang. Together, they are passionate about helping people know Jesus Christ, grow in God’s Word, and become lifelong disciples. Through years of ministry, teaching, and serving Burmese churches across the United States, God has given them a deep burden for the next generation.
Recognizing the language, cultural, and generational challenges facing many Burmese American families, God called Thian and Lai to plant The Bridge Assembly—a bilingual English and Burmese church in the Twin Cities. Their vision is to build a Christ-centered church where generations worship together, families are strengthened, and lives are transformed through the truth of God’s Word.
Thian and Lai believe the local church is called to love God, love people, and make disciples. They are honored to serve the Twin Cities and look forward to welcoming you to The Bridge Assembly.
